We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the School Games Mark Silver award! This achievement is rewarded to schools who meet a certain amount of select criteria for P.E. and Sports in their school.

The School Games Mark is a Government led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

With a substantial amount of young people competing in local inter-school competitions this year, we are incredibly proud of our pupils for their commitment to all areas of school sport.

As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.

This year, Ermine Primary Academy are showing their aspiration and are going for GOLD! It will be a very tricky task indeed, however Mr Hobson is working incredibly hard behind the scenes to try to ensure we can meet all the criteria possible!
