Areas of Responsibility:

Class teacher and football team coach/manager AKA the next Claudio Ranieri.

Personal Statement:

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was around fifteen (after I gave up hopes of becoming a football superstar!). I find the profession hugely rewarding and genuinely love waking up and coming to work every day.

Qualifications:

I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2012 with a Sports Science and Coaching degree, I then spent a year with CfBT teacher training course. I have FA level 2 in coaching football, I also have coaching awards in basketball, rugby and orienteering.

Experience:

I have worked predominantly at Ermine Primary Academy, starting here as a TA3 and working my way up to become a teacher. I have also worked in Branston Community Academy and volunteered at many schools throughout my time at University. I have worked with children around Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and in France where I lived for around five months!

Why Ermine Primary Academy is your passion?

Each and every day brings a new, fresh challenge working at EPA. In the short time I have been here, I have noticed the vast improvements in all areas of the school, all due to the adults and students dedication to working in an outstanding environment. I am very proud that I work with such passionate people who not only want to improve each students learning and knowledge, but to make them into hard-working and honest young people.
